The Citizen is a seaside tavern located in Alys Beach on Mark Twain Lane and 30A. Local and seasonal ingredients drive the inspiration for the food and beverages. The Citizen offers guests a choice between an 18-seat bar, a 12-seat raw bar or a 120-seat dining room. Many menu items are cooked over a wood-fired hearth.
An Oyster Happy Hour is available from 2:00-5:00 pm, a Bar menu from 2:00-10:00 pm and Dinner from 5-9 is available Tuesday through Sunday. Brunch is offered on Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 am -2:00 pm.
Limited reservations are accepted for parties of 8 or larger. Call the restaurant to reserve.
