Let’s Get Pizza on 30A!

It’s your first night at the beach – you had to wait till 4:00 pm to check-in. Everyone’s tired from a day of travel and the lines at the grocery store. If you’re super prepared – you meal prepped, and everyone gets a great healthy meal for dinner to start your beach week. OR, you are looking for the couch, or want to get down to the beach for sunset, or your refrigerator doesn’t seem to be working because you filled it full of warm drinks and actually, it just can’t handle that kind of load at one time, so it can’t cool, so it’s not actually broken, but I digress…

Take-out food to the rescue! What’s the number one thing people are going to want? Pizza. There’s always an explanation for blowing your beach-ready diet the moment you arrive in town, and the convenience and love for pizza is just the answer!

Although you‘d think at the beach, we’d just be swimming in seafood to eat 24/7, right? Thankfully, some restauranters were smart and added pizza to their menu or are solely pizza places. Luckily for you, on 30A and beyond, it’s GREAT pizza. Nope, you aren’t going to find just the regular delivery pizzas like everywhere else. These are family-owned, local places that will soon become your go-to places and favorites!  Our full list of pizza shops along 30A can be found here.

Let’s start on 30A.

Pizza by the Sea

Watercolor/Seagrove Beach
Seacrest Beach
Gulf Place

Pizza by the Sea is family-owned. They have a great story, impeccable customer service, and some discounts on specific days. If you sign up for their emails, you will get a special *word* for ½ price deals on Thursdays. (!) They also have a kid’s menu. There are 3 locations – One is in the middle of 30A in Seagrove Beach at WaterColor Crossings (Publix plaza) on 395, just North of 30A; one is in Gulf Place at the West end of 30A; and one is in Seacrest Beach on the East end of 30A.

Angelina’s

Seagrove Beach

Many long-time 30A beachgoers consider Angelina’s their favorite – great pizza, food, and great prices. Dine-in or take-out is offered. It’s also always packed with people picking up to-go pizza orders.

The location is in a little white house and is right on 30A. Parking is to the right side in a gravel parking lot.

Grace’s Pizza & Shakes

Grayton Beach

A newer establishment on 30A, the reviews are in, and people love it! Mention it, and the response is, “OH, it is so good you have to go there.” The shakes are desserts and guaranteed to be “over the top,” they say (literally, they are). Have you been to Black Tap in NYC? Think those types of shakes: fun, with themes, and just amazing works of art. Then there are the regular traditional shakes, which costs $10 for one. Yes, that classifies as a dessert, not a refillable drink with dinner. Haha! So they have pizzas, hot sandwiches, starters, salads, draft beer, and then, the shakes.

They have an amazing story – go on their website to read it! They started in Texas (everything’s bigger in Texas, right? So that may explain the shakes!) and have 2 locations (Texas and one here on 30A!! Lucky us! Not to be missed!) Details: Small seating area inside and out. The restaurant can get busy. Take-out orders are probably easier if you have a large group. They are located off of 393 off of 30A on Clayton Lane in Grayton Beach.

Amici’s Italian Kitchen

Inlet Beach

Amici’s Italian Kitchen has great pizzas, Italian food, and seafood! They are known for their Happy Hour from 3-6 and $10 pizzas. Dine-in only. They are located in the 30Avenue plaza in Inlet Beach at the intersection of Highway 98 and 30A. Parking in the plaza area is available, and if you can’t get a spot in the front, there’s more parking around the back.

Their sister restaurant is right next to them (you check in at the same hostess stand) called Amigos – a Mexican restaurant.

Brozinni’s

Seagrove Beach

Dine-in, pick up, or delivery. Call or order online, as menus are available online. Brozinni’s offers pizza, calzones, pasta dishes, and salads. Great crust and good service. They sell a 20” pizza, which is great for a large party! Parking in the front, at the side, and then if that’s full, down the street next to it. Brozinni’s has a small indoor seating area, and outdoor seating is on picnic tables. It is located in Seagrove Beach, right on 30A.

Bud & Alley’s Pizza

Seaside

Right in the heart of Seaside is Bud & Alley’s Pizzeria – with a newly renovated terrace & sea views, and ample seating on the street side (30A) with a walk-up ordering counter – take a number, then they bring the order to you. Outdoor seating is available, or you can order take-out. Bud & Alley’s offers pizzas, pasta dishes, Italian appetizers, and a bar. Pizzas are baked fresh, with a great crust, and it’s not heavy.

Grimaldi’s – Beyond 30A

Miramar Beach

Not on 30A, you’ll have to drive a bit to get there by way of Highway 98, but it’s one of our favorites, so we make the time. (Not a ‘first night’ at the beach place, unless the weather’s gross or you feel like driving a little more, haha). Grimaldi’s isn’t one you get “to go.” Dine in. If you stay on 30A, your food will be cold when you return. Grimaldi’s is located in the Grand Boulevard Town Center of South Walton in Miramar Beach. They have an app where you can accrue points to earn free pizza. 2-3 people can easily share their regular salad.

The Margherita pizza is our favorite! They have so many options! The atmosphere is enjoyable – Italian-themed, with empty wine bottles hanging from the ceilings and swooning Sinatra music playing in the background. There is a bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Ample parking is available. Go in and out at the light by Starbucks and Tom Thumb off Highway 98 at the first light to Grand Boulevard.
