Beach Church: Inside & Out

If you’re the church-going type – nothing starts the week off better than a service at church!

Who goes to church every week? Lots of people! Who goes to church when they are on vacation? Lots of People! You can, too!

I’m going to feature a few churches around the area. Depending on where you live or are visiting will depend on how close they are. Many churches broadcast their services, and most have an online option, some of which are LIVE!

After vacationing on the East Coast for most of my life, my husband and I vacationed at a beach in North Carolina and a local church there offered a “beach church” – literally ON the beach! Every Sunday morning, a local church would come to the beach with speakers and pre-printed programs to follow along with and hold a 45-minute service, complete with a short children’s message and a question of who lived there and who had traveled the farthest to be there. There was the singing of familiar hymns and contemporary choruses, followed by a challenging and uplifting message, while children played in the sand at the feet of their parents and grandparents.

*Please check with each church individually for their updated covid protocols. Please call them during office hours to check if nothing is listed on their website.
